Pond View is a contemporary remodel and extension of a once dated property in West Sussex, transformed into a light-filled family home with a stronger connection to its garden and pond views. Working as main contractors alongside Randell Design Group, Dowling Construction helped deliver a carefully considered refurbishment that improved the layout, flow and performance of the home. The finished property now features an open-plan living space, roof lanterns, modern glazing and sliding doors, with a flush floor finish creating a smooth transition onto the external terrace. The build also included a strong focus on energy efficiency, with upgraded insulation, high-performance windows and doors, an air-source heat pump and solar photovoltaics. Externally, timber cladding, Purbeck stone and lime mortar bring texture and contrast, helping the home sit naturally within its landscape.
